Back in a time when summer days were endless and the entire world could be reached from the seat of your bicycle, you were just a child who’s biggest concerns were a yearning for adventure and friendship. We all were, once. In this game, you will take on the roles of children who are torn between two worlds. The first one, referred to as The Real, looks most like our world we inhabit today. Children are expected to go to school and listen to authority, and magic is nothing but smoke and mirrors and daydreams. The second world, referred to as Elsewhere, is a world that only children can perceive. It is an escape from the mundane, filled with true magic, mystery, and adventure. While at first glance you might want to spend all of your time Elsewhere, your life in The Real is still full of people who need you, with problems to be solved that might be even more important than the ones Elsewhere. Finding a balance between the two is crucial. If you rush to grow up, you’ll lose the magic needed to perceive Elsewhere, but if you turn your back on The Real, you’ll never be able to go home.
